Playing field sports pitches

We have bookable sports pitches in playing fields across Crawley. You can also organise and book group activities such as boot camps, running groups and personal training at our pitches.

How to book a sports pitch

Visit our community bookings website, Bookings Plus, and create an account using the 'sign up' button on the top right. You will then be able to make bookings online, manage your details and view your booking history. 

If you forget your password, follow the link on the login page to reset it.

Make your booking

  1. log in to our community bookings website
  2. find the sports facility you would like to hire and select 'enquire'
  3. select the date and time you would like to enquire about and click on 'start enquiry'
  4. complete the booking enquiry form. If you are a regular hirer, click on the 'set as recurring' box
  5. submit your enquiry and wait for your booking enquiry to be reviewed by our Facilities team
  6. if your request is approved, you will receive an email confirmation with an invoice which will include details on how to pay. The booking will appear in your account

Changes and cancellations

You can view and manage your bookings online. Cancellation requests will be subject to the applicable booking terms and conditions. Some amendments may need to be processed by our Facilities team.

If you need help

If you change your email address, please email the Facilities team at facilities@crawley.gov.uk with your old and new email and they will update it for you.

Cancellations due to weather

Sometimes we have to cancel sports pitch games due to weather conditions.

Decisions on pitch conditions will emailed to subscribers no later than 4pm on the Friday prior to the hire of the weekend’s session. Subscribe to the pitch conditions email alerts on the link below.
