Our policy has been reviewed and updated to align with our current approach to responding to Anti-social Behaviour (ASB).

We recognised that the previous policy was not clear enough about:

  • what is considered ASB and what is not
  • what you can expect when contacting the service
  • what is expected of users of the service in relation to the information we need so that we can investigate ASB reports
  • partners we may work with to remedy the ASB

We have amended our policy to make these points clearer.

Additionally, we have updated the policy to take into account recommendations from the Housing Ombudsman to landlords about responding to ASB and noise issues in socially rented housing.

We welcome your feedback on the policy.

We will also be running some focus groups on our approach to ASB during the week of 18 March to 22 March. If you are interested in joining a focus group to discuss these issues further, email tenantparticipation@crawley.gov.uk with your details.
