We are consulting Ifield residents who are local to Deerswood Court, as well as the adjacent land users, including the current users of the Deerswood Court garages.
The proposal is to build up to 18, one and two-bed new ‘modular’ houses on the site to help address Crawley’s chronic social housing need. The housing will be for local people to meet local housing needs.
This proposal will involve the demolition of 52 old garages (numbers 24 to 75) at Deerswood Court and their replacement with about 50 parking spaces for wider community use that will be located underneath the new ‘modular’ housing.
