In line with the government’s roadmap out of lockdown, non-essential retail and outside hospitality venues will reopen on Monday 12 April, along with additional Crawley Borough Council facilities.

The council is working to make the town centre and neighbourhood parades safe for the return of shoppers from Monday and would like to remind visitors to:

  • Follow social distancing guidelines
  • Pay by contactless where possible
  • Follow directional signage
  • Wear face coverings when social distancing isn’t possible
  • Be considerate and give way where paths are narrow

Hospitality and licensed venues reopening on Monday will be allowed to serve food and beverages to people in outside spaces only.

The Town Hall will reopen on Monday from 10am – 4pm for pre-booked appointments to pay in cash at a kiosk, collect or drop off items, use a public self-service computer or to get parking permits or visitor books (card payments only). Book an appointment. All nine public toilets will also reopen, with the exception of the five fee-charging ‘superloos’.

K2 Crawley and The Bewbush Centre, managed by sports and leisure operator Everyone Active in partnership with Crawley Borough Council, will reopen their doors on Monday with strict operational measures in place.
