The Town Hall will reopen for pre-booked appointments only from Wednesday 2 December as Crawley moves into tier two of coronavirus restrictions.

Appointments can be booked online, by email or by calling 01293 438000 for the following services:

  • Paying in cash if you’re unable to pay via our other channels
  • Dropping off or collecting an item
  • Using a self-service terminal. Where possible, please scan documents and send them to the council electronically
  • Purchasing parking permits (card only)

Only one payment kiosk will be open and there will be no cashiers’ service. Cash payments will have to be made at the kiosk.

Appointments will be available between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. When booking, you will be asked for your name, address and contact information for track and trace purposes. This information will be kept for a minimum of 21 days before being destroyed.

A wide range of council services, including paying bills and reporting a problem, can be accessed online. To pay by debit or credit card you can do so online, over the phone by calling our automated payments line on 01293 438312 or at your bank. Visit myCrawley for access to rubbish and recycling updates for your home, your Council Tax account and our extensive library of forms.

The Town Hall will operate in the same way as when we reopened in July. Council officers will sanitise surfaces after every visitor. If coming into the Town Hall you must:

  • Have an appointment to enter the Town Hall. Please arrive on time; if you arrive early you will have to wait outside the building
  • Sanitise your hands on entering and exiting the building
  • Use the one-way system which is in place to ensure social distancing
  • Wear a face covering unless you are not able to do so

The only entrance to the building will be the front doors on The Boulevard; there is no access from the multi-storey car park. The doors will be closed and manually opened by a member of staff to people with appointments
