Affordable housing SPD 2017
The Affordable housing supplementary planning document (SPD) was adopted in November 2017. It was replaced on 1 June 2026 by the Residential Developments SPD.
Planning and climate change SPD 2016
This document was adopted in October 2016. It was replaced on 29 June 2026 by the Sustainable Design and Construction SPD.
A guidance note was published alongside the 2016 SPD to assist in achieving greater sustainability and energy and water efficiency for alterations and extensions to buildings (including for householder planning applications). The guidance note was replaced on 1 June 2026 by the Householder Development SPD.
Development at Gatwick Airport SPD 2008
The development at Gatwick Airport supplementary planning document (SPD) was adopted on 17 December 2008. It was revoked in February 2026.
Green infrastructure SPD 2016
The Green infrastructure supplementary planning document (SPD) was adopted in October 2016. It was replaced on 1 June 2026 by the Green Infrastructure SPD.
Local list 2010
The Crawley Local building list was reviewed and published in 2010. It was replaced on 29 June 2026 by the Local heritage list SPD.
Town centre SPD 2016
The Town centre supplementary planning document (SPD) was adopted in October 2016. It was replaced on 29 June 2026 by the Town centre SPD (2026).
Urban design SPD 2016
The Urban design supplementary planning document (SPD) was adopted in October 2016. It was replaced, in part, on 1 June 2026 by the Householder Development SPD and the Residential developments SPD and on 29 June 2026 by the Town centre SPD.
