Local Plan Review consultation

The draft Crawley Local Plan Regulation 19 public consultation closed on 30 June. Representations received are being collated and will be made publicly available in due course.

Comments on the Crawley Local Plan Review documents are invited during the consultation period which started on 6 January 2021 and ends at 5pm on 30 June 2021. Please read our guidance note for further details.

You can view all key documents, draft topic papers and new evidence base documents on the Local Plan Review page. Paper copies of the documents are not available at any physical location at the current time due to Covid-19 restrictions.

If you would like to comment on the Submission draft Local Plan, you will be asked to comment on whether you consider the Plan to comply with legal requirements, including the duty to cooperate, and whether the document is sound. Please read our guidance note for further details.

We must receive representations no later than 5pm on the last day of the consultation period or they will not be considered.

All representations received within the statutory consultation period will be submitted to the Secretary of State, who will appoint an Inspector to carry out an independent examination of the Local Plan and its evidence base. 

By law, representations cannot be made anonymously. All representations will be published alongside your name, company name (if applicable), and your client’s name or company (if applicable). We will use the information you submit to assist formulating planning policy.
