Crawley Borough Council has introduced two great features at Tilgate Park perfect for dogs and their owners!

The Hound Ground is a new, secure paddock which is perfect for you and your fluffy friend. Dogs should be kept on the lead at all times whilst walking round Tilgate Lake; therefore this new safe space is ideal for off-lead training. There is space for up to six dogs at a time.

The council will ensure the area remains secure against coronavirus by leaving 15 minutes between appointments so visitors avoid coming into contact with other visitors unnecessarily. Booking is online only and each session costs £10.

Tilgate Park also introduced a fully automated, self-serve dog washing station. Polygon Pets have installed their machine by the main toilets and car park. This convenient washing station, which has been very popular in other parks, takes contactless payment and provides everything you need to shampoo, rinse and dry your dog.

This makes Tilgate Park an even better place to walk your dogs in a safe and enjoyable way. It will help take away the stress of washing or training your dog.
