Additional Lifeline equipment
We can provide a range of sensors and detectors that work with a Lifeline as park of your Lifeline package. They automatically contact the monitoring centre if there is a problem and can give added reassurance to friends and family. These can help you live independently and stay in control of your own health and wellbeing. There are a range of options to choose from.
Fall detector (intelligent pendant)
Our fall detector is a small lightweight pendant that gives you an added layer of protection by automatically calling for assistance if it detects a fall. It also has a button which can be pressed in an emergency to activate a call to our Alarm Receiving Centre. With this option you would only need to wear a single pendant (you would not need a standard Lifeline pendant as well).
Linked smoke detector
The linked smoke detector is easily installed onto the ceiling of your home. On detecting smoke, two alarms are activated. An audible alarm sounds within your home and an alert is automatically sent to our 24-hour Alarm Receiving Centre, where an experienced operator can, if required, contact the emergency services.
Carbon monoxide detector
The carbon monoxide detector detects dangerous levels of carbon monoxide and raises an automatic alarm call to our Alarm Receiving Centre.
Heat detector
The wireless heat detector provides additional protection against the risk of fires in rooms where smoke detectors are unsuitable, such as in your kitchen. When activated it raises an automatic alarm call to our Alarm Receiving Centre.
GPS tracker
For peace of mind outdoors, try our GPS tracker. This is suitable for those who like to get out and about and may need to call for help suddenly. It’s similar to the Lifeline pendant but works best when you are of the house. Wherever you are in the UK, just pressing the button will connect you to our Alarm Receiving Centre. An operator will talk to you through the tracker, find out the problem and get you the help you need. The operator will know who you are, important personal details and be able to locate you on a map and then send help to your exact location.
Key safe
A key safe is a simple and secure way to keep a spare set of keys for friends, family, care workers, or emergency services to use. You don’t have to risk hiding them under a doormat or in a plant pot. It also removes the dangers of having to leave the door unlocked or handing out your spare keys.
We can supply and install the Supra C500 Key Safe:
- push button operation with 12 buttons. Combination codes can be four, five, six or seven digits long
- dial to open (once the code has been entered) and to lock the keysafe
- internal dimensions are 76 x 53 mm, space to store up to six keys depending on key type and length (five to six Yale type or two to five Chubb style keys)
- rust and water resistant and comes with a rigid black weather cover to protect it from the elements
- approved by the police and independent experts. It passed tests covering breaking into the key safe and removal from the wall, making it as secure as your front door
- it must be fitted in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and must go on brick or concrete
- approved by West Sussex Police
Installing a key safe will not usually invalidate your home contents insurance. If you are unsure, check with your provider.
