Performance of Crawley Homes

Crawley Borough Council was inspected by the Regulator of Social Housing in 2025 against the national consumer standards for all social landlords. The Regulator has published its report and graded us as C2 which is the second highest level. This means that while the Regulator is assured overall that Crawley Homes is meeting the standard, there are some areas where further work is required.

Read the report in our 30 July 2025 news story.

Since the inspection, we have made progress against all the areas identified as a weakness by the regulator.

Our Regulator of Social Housing Provider Improvement Strategy gives a position statement of what we had achieved in October 2025 and an analysis of how weaknesses emerged.

It explains how we are developing our governance arrangements and our strategy for achieving the highest grading of C1 from the Regulator. It also includes an improvement action plan.

You can read our Regulator of Social Housing Provider Improvement Strategy below:

As a social housing landlord we must be transparent about how we are performing as a landlord.

We report our performance to the Tenant and Leaseholders Action Panel (TLAP) at their quarterly meetings. We also report our Tenant Satisfaction Measures performance to the Regulator for Social Housing.

The tables below show our performance in six key areas.
