Plan your visit to Tilgate Park

Tilgate Park is located on Tilgate Drive, Crawley, West Sussex RH10 5PQ.

Metrobus service 2 runs to the park on weekends and Bank Holidays. Monday to Friday it stops at K2 Crawley, a 15 to 20 minute walk from Tilgate Park.

The zoo, walled garden and park toilets:

• Summer hours: 31 March to 26 October from 10am to 6pm
• Winter hours: 27 October to 30 March from 10am to 4pm
• Last entry to the zoo is 5pm in summer and 3pm in winter

Christmas closures are 25 and 26 December (additional closure days may be added)

The walled garden is locked at closing time.

We have some provision for disabled drivers, minibuses and coaches. Two extra spaces are also located next to the zoo.

Pre-booked group packages start from £6 per child and £8 per adult and include:

• free coach parking
• entrance to park and zoo
• complimentary pass for organiser or driver

• Barbecues are not allowed
• Dogs must be kept on lead around Tilgate Lake at all times
• Dogs are not permitted in the zoo, walled garden or play area
• Cycling is allowed on the bridleways on the park’s perimeters and along the roadway to the zoo
