Residents and visitors can find their way around the town centre, thanks to new wayfinding signs in the Memorial Gardens.

Crawley Borough Council has installed new up-to-date wayfinding signs in the Memorial Gardens to reflect the changes in the town centre and improve connectivity to out of town attractions for both visitors and residents.

Funded by the council, West Sussex County Council and the Coast to Capital Local Enterprise Partnership, as part of the Crawley Growth Programme, the signs feature updated maps, directions and walking times to other areas of the town centre, such as Crawley and Three Bridges railway stations, K2 Crawley leisure centre, Tilgate Park and County Mall.

This is the second phase of the scheme which, in 2018, saw the replacement of 10 tired and mismatched signs in the town centre with 20 new finger post and totem signs.

Over in the Historic High Street, a new heritage sign is also set to be installed. Replacing the current sign, the new sign will display the history of the area, while complementing the suite of new signage around the town.

These signs not only look great, but are in keeping with our changing town centre. Our thanks to West Sussex County Council and the LEP for their partnership on this project.
