Council services over Christmas and New Year

Crawley Borough Council closes for the Christmas period at 4pm on Wednesday 23 December.  Our staff and services will be available from 10am on Monday 4 January 2021 but the town hall will remain closed due to Tier 4 restrictions.

The Contact Centre will close at 5pm on 23 December and will reopen at 8.30am on 4 January 2021 to answer enquiries.

Online services

Recycling and rubbish collections

Collection days will change over the festive period. Sign up to myCrawley to keep track of your collections online. You can also visit our collections page.

The government has announced that Crawley moves in Coronavirus Tier 4 from 26 December.  Find out how this affects services and opening times.

Cemeteries

Cemeteries are open from:

  • 9.30am on Christmas Day and Boxing Day
  • 10am on all other days

Community Centres

Community Centres are closed from Wednesday 23 December and only open for pre-school groups and crèches with existing bookings if schools are closed.

Maidenbower 3g pitch

The pitches are closed until further notice.

Outdoor grass pitches

These will be available to hire from Saturday 9 January.
