There is just one day to go until THRIVE, our cultural celebration in the town centre.

Residents in Crawley have shown off their creative side at the free workshops that took place throughout the past two months, making more than 170 sculptures which will light up the town this Saturday.

Same Sky have visited community venues and schools across Crawley and saw more than 300 people get involved with the free, family-friendly, creative art workshops, where participants made lanterns and bunting.  

The artwork will be an integral part of THRIVE, our annual, celebratory event in the Memorial Gardens this Saturday (30 November) from 2.30pm. Workshop participants have been invited to take part in an evening parade around the town centre alongside samba bands and bhangra drummers, before returning to the Memorial Gardens for a fantastic fireworks display.

For all pet owners, we care about keeping animals safe and happy, so we would like to warn you that the firework finale will take place at 5.45pm in the Memorial Gardens and last around five minutes.

Visitors can take part in activities including arts and crafts in the bandstand, community stalls and a cultural kitchen food tasting stand and enjoy music featuring local acts and a professional headliner. The event timings are:
