Earlier this year, Crawley Wellbeing enlisted local artist Vanessa Cumper to facilitate collaborative workshops with Manor Green College and Outreach 3 way to create new artwork for Crawley’s Bluebird club.

Pupils from the college and participants from Outreach 3 Way worked with Vanessa to design four, floor to ceiling banners. During the workshops they spoke to Vanessa about different instruments, music genres, colours and emblems that represent the Bluebird Club and created some of their own artwork which has been incorporated into the finished design.

The new artwork will be hung up at the next club night on Wednesday 20 November at The Hawth.

The Bluebird Club is a night for people with learning disabilities and their friends. A chance to listen to the freshest sounds, relax in the chill out room, chat with friends and dance to great live music.

Tickets cost £4 per person (£3.50 with a Compass Card) and carers go free. To book, call The Hawth Box office on 01293 553636.

Part of Dimensions, Outreach 3 Way is a Sussex charity that provides support for people with learning disabilities and autism.
