Crawley Borough Council is pleased to confirm that preparatory works for phase one of the Station Gateway regeneration scheme are now underway, with construction expected to continue for approximately five months.

The works, which are being carried out by Landbuild Ltd on behalf of Crawley Borough Council, will transform the public spaces on the Martlets, Haslett Avenue West, and Friary Way, and deliver major improvements to the operation of the bus station in the heart of Crawley town centre.

The first phase of construction will focus on highway improvements along Station Way and the junction with Friary Way, including upgraded pedestrian routes, improved traffic flow and enhanced public spaces.

To carry out the works safely and efficiently, lane closures will be required at various stages and occasional full road closures may be necessary. Clearly signed diversion routes will be put in place accordingly and access for residents and local businesses will be maintained throughout. These measures have been carefully planned to minimise disruption wherever possible.

Further information and regular updates can be found on Crawley Station Gateway page on the Invest Crawley website.
