The Safer Crawley Partnership awarded £5,000 to the Russell Martin Foundation (RMF) to deliver youth outreach activity in Crawley during the 2025 summer term and school holidays, providing positive engagement for young people and families in local community spaces.
RMF delivered evening sessions throughout the summer term and summer holidays in Southgate Park and Langley Green, including the BMX track, playing field and parade areas. The sessions focused on informal engagement, building relationships and offering a positive presence within the community.
The Russell Martin Foundation’s summer outreach work provided a trusted presence for young people and families in Southgate and Langley Green. This kind of outreach is vital in helping young people feel connected, valued and encouraged to make positive choices.
