Tilgate Zoo is delighted to announce the arrival of two exciting new species to its growing collection, giving visitors even more reasons to explore the zoo this summer.

A playful troop of squirrel monkeys and a group of fascinating bush babies have recently moved into their new homes at Tilgate Zoo and are already proving popular with staff and visitors alike.

Known for their energetic antics and inquisitive nature, squirrel monkeys are among the most active and entertaining primates in the animal kingdom. Visitors can expect to see them leaping through their enclosure, exploring every corner and chattering with one another throughout the day.

Meanwhile, the zoo's new bush babies bring a touch of magic to the collection. Famous for their enormous eyes, impressive jumping abilities and distinctive calls, these playful primates offer a unique opportunity for visitors to discover one of nature's most remarkable species.

The new arrivals join Tilgate Zoo's diverse collection of animals and form part of the ongoing development of the zoo's visitor experience.

Tilgate Park and Zoo offer one of the best family days out in the region, combining beautiful parkland, wonderful wildlife and great value for money. We are thrilled to welcome our new squirrel monkeys and bush babies to the zoo. They are fascinating, animated animals that visitors of all ages will enjoy watching and learning about. With our Summer Saver promotion running until 1 September with discounted entry prices for everyone, there's never been a better time to come along, explore everything Tilgate has to offer and meet these exciting new additions.

Visitors can make the most of the last days of the school holidays and enjoy a packed day out at Tilgate Park, which offers woodland walks, lakes, play areas, cafés, the observation wheel and, of course, the zoo's growing collection of animal residents.

This weekend, 29 and 30 August, Tilgate Zoo will be raising money for TRAFFIC South East Asia which works to combat wildlife trafficking in the area. There will be lots of activities to get involved with.
