Crawley Borough Council is pleased to announce that Groundwork South Ltd has successfully secured a further 10 year contract to operate the much loved Walled Garden Café at Tilgate Park.
The new contract maintains the successful partnership between the council and Groundwork South, ensuring continued high quality refreshments for park visitors, families and their regular customers.
The café offers hot and cold drinks, with a selection of cakes and other delicious light meals. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing refreshment break while enjoying the tranquility of the Walled Garden.
Tilgate Park is the jewel in the crown of Crawley and offers grassy lawns, stunning lakes and vibrant gardens filled with beautiful flowers, trees and shrubs. It also has extensive woodlands for visitors to enjoy long, leisurely walks. Every season brings something new, with the whole park coming alive in spring when the rhododendrons are in full bloom.
The Green Flag award-winning park also boasts Tilgate Zoo as well as a broad range of excellent activities and attractions.
We are delighted to award Groundwork South Ltd a further 10 year contract to operate the Walled Garden Café. The company’s commitment to excellent customer service, community engagement, and social value has been clear throughout their time at Tilgate Park. This renewed partnership gives confidence to our visitors and supports the wider Tilgate Park experience. We look forward to seeing the café continue to thrive.
