Crawley High Street will be filled with music and community spirit as the town comes together to celebrate St George’s Day. From 12pm to 4pm Day on Saturday 25 April, residents and visitors are invited to enjoy an afternoon of live entertainment, family friendly activities and local community stalls in the heart of the town.
The event will feature a lively programme of performances from some of Crawley’s much loved local performers. Audiences can look forward to uplifting performances from vocalist Victoria Boltwood, The Crawley Millennium Concert Band and Mr Lilley’s New Voices, a new children’s choir based in Crawley town centre.
Adding even more excitement to the programme, there will be talented performances from Crawley-based performing arts group, DMT School, and dancers from KC’s Dance and Gymnastics Crawley.
Alongside the entertainment, families will be able to enjoy a free craft workshop for children, offering a creative way to celebrate the day. Community groups will also be present, with Diverse Crawley hosting a stall and The League of Friends of Crawley Hospital running a fundraising raffle in support of local healthcare services.
