Crawley Borough Council recently held an autumn jobs fair at the Town Hall. With jobs on offer from many different sectors, around 300 jobseekers were able to speak directly to employers and discuss the various roles available face-to-face, and in a relaxed environment.
Amongst the broad selection of local employer stands supporting our residents in finding work at the event were: Chichester College Group, London Gatwick Airport, West Sussex County Council, Kier Construction, Holiday Inn Hotels, EasyJet and Royal Mail.
Tracy and Ana from the team were on hand with information, advice and guidance throughout the day.
My thanks to all the exhibitors, organisers and everyone who attended the jobs fair. It was great to see so many jobseekers come along on the day to meet prospective employers face-to-face. There was a real buzz in the air and I hope this resulted in lots of vacancies being filled.
