Crawley High Street comes alive every Thursday evening from 18 June to 10 September, with music from local talent, as well as national acts. It's free to attend, so come along, enjoy great live music, and support the local bars and restaurants on the High Street.

Summer Sounds kicked off in style on 18 June with The Cureheads and Brighton-based singer, Stephen Murphy.

The Crawley Fusion Mela launch event takes place on 16 July. Join us for performances by:

The line up for 23 July is:

• 5pm Victoria Boltwood

Victoria Boltwood sings throughout the year to support local community events as well as raising awareness and funds for charity organisations. Victoria is from Crawley and always enjoys performing for her home town. She is once again delighted to be singing some classic all time favourites.

M&M Theatre School is run by active West End professionals who pride themselves on passing on their experience and passion for all things musical theatre.

The Spinettes are West End and international performers with years of experience under their belts. They have joined forces to form the most glamorous and sought after retro trio in the UK. These beautiful ladies light up the stage with their abundant energy, slick choreography and tight harmonies. They celebrate hits from the 1940s through to the current day.

30 July is Americana-country music night and the line-up is:

• 5 to 5.45pm: Gina Larner
• 6 to 6.45pm: Alex Francis
• 7 to 8pm: Miller Campbell

Gina Larner is a Brighton-born Americana and pop-rock artist whose powerful vocals, sharp storytelling and distinctive edge have marked her as one of the UK’s most compelling rising performers.

Alex Francis is a compelling contemporary singer-songwriter known for his soulful voice and a blend of contemporary pop and classic soul. He has built a reputation for live performances and songwriting, having toured with major artists including Sting, Stereophonics, James Bay and Alanis Morissette.

One part gritty, heartland rocker and one part coastal cool, Miller Campbell is a Montana-grown singer-songwriter known for delivering intimate confessionals disguised as anthems. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest and cousins with the famed songwriter, Glen Campbell, Miller has been named one of rock-and-roll’s “Rising Stars” by SPIN magazine.

The line up for 6 August is:

Overdrive offers classic 70s rock that everyone knows, loves and can sing along to.

Ed Miller Band is a power trio playing groovy classics from the great artists such as the Beatles, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, Queen and the Foo’s to name just a few. You’ll most certainly be singing along.

The line up for 13 August is:

• Gatsby’s Jukebox
• Harlequeens

Gatsby's Jukebox are the UK’s finest swing show band, serving up an incredible array of your favourite contemporary pop songs - all with a glitzy, ‘post-modern jukebox’ style twist. They’ll leave you with nothing left to do but throw on your glad rags and get dancing!

Harlequeens are a feel-good, three-part harmony trio from Brighton. They’ll be bringing singalong 80s and 90s classics with a splash of 60s and 70s nostalgia thrown in for good measure.

• Going for Broke

The Handfull are a 4-piece powerhouse bringing you the best of modern rock and indie.

Going for Broke is a vibrant, energetic folk duo putting their unique spin on your favourite tunes. From 80’s disco and rock classics to club bangers and beloved ballads, they all get the folk treatment in their up-tempo shows with their slick, original arrangements.

• Radio Crawsham DJ set
• Eddie Miller

Mia Ardinez is a Crawley-based British singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Born to a European family, her multi-cultural influences have shaped her musical and lyrical style.

Radio Crawsham is a locally focused radio service created to serve the towns of Crawley and Horsham, delivering relevant, engaging and inclusive broadcasting for our community. It is built around the belief that truly local radio still matters and that local radio should reflect the people, places, culture and voices of the area it serves.

Charlie Cooper is a singer and guitarist from West Sussex who plays Mod, Ska, Northern Soul, and 90s and 00s indie and rock music. Charlie has been gigging across the South East for 20 years.

Eddie Miller caters for a broad mix of musical tastes and many genres including pop, rock, reggae and blues, from a small laid-back acoustic affair to the bigger festival electric upbeat rocking gig.

The Cureheads are the longest-running and arguably the most well-known tribute band dedicated to The Cure. They recreate The Cure’s live sound and visual style in performance.

Stephen Murphy is a British singer/songwriter based in Brighton. He grew up heavily inspired by artists such as Jeff Buckley, Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, R.E.M and Radiohead, which he channels in his music.
