Crawley Festival outdoor cinema
The Crawley Festival committee, with the support of Crawley Borough Council, is organising a cinema event at St Wilfrid’s School where you can watch some of your favourite films and enjoy a safe experience with family and friends.
By purchasing a ticket you will gain access for the booked session for up to 6 people and will be allocated a pitch which is safely distanced from the other attendees. Doors open one hour before the film starts to reduce queueing. Pitches are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Bring your own foldable chairs and blankets and make yourselves comfortable for a great afternoon or evening of outdoor cinema!
The site will operate with a reduced capacity to allow attendees to comply with social distancing guidelines. We are not selling individual tickets, instead you can book a pitch for up to 6 people which will be marked out and safely distanced from other groups with large spaces between them.
There will be hand sanitising stations placed around the site.
Although face coverings are not mandatory, we recommend you wear one until you are seated and whenever you are moving around the site. Front of house staff will be wearing a face covering.
We want everyone to have an enjoyable experience and have worked hard to organise a safe event which complies with government guidelines. Please support us in this process.
Please do not come to the show if you are feeling unwell, have a temperature or any Covid-19 symptoms.
- Please adhere to the social distancing guidelines and use designated paths.
- Do not leave your designated pitches unless you need to and only to get food, drinks or use the facilities
- Your pitch will be laid out in a specific way before you arrive, please do not move it and do not spread outside of this space. Please note we cannot merge pitches
- If you become ill after the event, please email us.

Seating area / pitches
Bring your own foldable chairs and blankets. No beanbags, mattresses or anything bulky as the pitch will have space for your group only.
Only share pitches with those from your household or social bubble. The seating will be socially distanced from other pitches but this won’t be the case within your own party.
There will be large spaces between pitches to allow you to safely walk to and from the facilities/stalls. We recommend that you walk as much as possible on the outside of the seating area and limit your movements around the site.
