About the role

Crawley Wellbeing Team are looking for someone to deliver 12 week Weight Management workshops in the Crawley area.
 
You will be given a weekly session plan which you will use to talk through a range of topics from portion control to mindful eating. You should have experience in using evidence-based behavioural techniques such as motivational interviewing and be able to help participants identify, set and meet achievable goals to improve their physical and emotional wellbeing.
 
Each session finishes with an exercise session where you will take them through a variety of moves to increase their heart rate in a safe and fun environment.
 
You will need the following qualifications: 

  • Level 3 and above in Nutrition
  • Level 3 and above in exercise
  • Experience delivering group interventions
  • Experience using Motivational interviewing

 
The workshop is paid hourly and each workshop is 1 hour 30 minutes and in 12 week blocks.
