About the role

The Neighbourhood Services Team are responsible for keeping Crawley’s residential and commercial areas, recreational open spaces and parks clean and well maintained. 

This role may also involve weeding and pruning shrub beds, hedge cutting, litter picking but the main parts of the role are bin emptying, removing fly tipping and graffiti and fly posting. To ensure a safe, clean and well-maintained town.

To be successful you will have:

  • An ability to prioritise the workload and be self-motivated
  • Experience of dealing with customers and communicating confidently.
  • Be able to report any issues, you can’t deal with yourself
  • Previous experience of grounds maintenance, graffiti clearance (though training will be provided) and the use of power washing equipment

You need to have a full current UK driving licence, and the ability to drive a transit sized vehicles.

You will need to ensure you are able to undertake the duties of the role due to their physical nature.
