This page shares information on our performance and the journey we are on to transform service delivery.

Performance

In December 2024, the council undertook its Corporate Peer Challenge (CPC). This is the Local Government sector's key improvement and assurance tool, which is delivered by the Local Government Association (LGA). The challenges looks at five core areas of assessment:

  • Performance and productivity across the areas of local priorities and outcomes
  • Organisational and place leadership
  • Governance and culture
    Financial planning and management, and
  • Capacity for improvement

We are in the process of developing an Action Plan in response which is due to be considered in July, and once agreed will be published here.

Transforming services

We are part way through a journey to transform Crawley Borough Council; embracing new ways of working, providing easily accessible and more efficient services for our customers, delivering value for money and creating a more commercial culture in order to be financially stable.
