Abuse, violence or drugs

Threats of abuse or violence are criminal offences and should be reported to the Police immediately. You must also let them know if you have concerns about your safety or the safety of others.

Some neighbour disputes may involve verbal abuse, intimidation or harassment, which can be very distressing for the victim. Report these types of behaviour to us. If the Police are already involved, we will work with them to agree the next steps to address the behaviour and provide you with the right support.

If you are a victim of domestic abuse living in a council property and wish to speak with someone for advice, you can contact your housing officer.

If you think your neighbour is suffering domestic abuse and have immediate concern for their safety, you should contact the police. If you are impacted by noise that you hear from a neighbour’s property relating to domestic abuse then report this to us. Email asb@crawley.gov.uk or call 01293 438438.

Drug use and dealing

Drug dealing is a criminal offence and should be reported to the Police immediately. You may also let them know if concerns about your safety or the safety of others.

Contact us if you suspect drug use/dealing is taking place in a council property and you or a member of your household have been affected. We will work with the Police to agree the next steps to address the behaviour.
