Strategic grants
Our strategic grants programme provides grants for one or more years, ranging from £5,000 to £50,000 for successful applications. Registered charities, community interest companies, voluntary organisations and community groups that meet the eligibility criteria can apply for funding.
We also invite proposals from organisations working together in partnership. Only one application per organisation or partnership will be considered per year. We particularly welcome applications from emerging groups and organisations seeking to develop new activities in response to clearly identified local needs with project proposals and plans.

This programme is currently closed and will reopen to applications later this year.
Local charities and not-for-profit organisations wishing to apply to this funding programme should contact community.grants@crawley.gov.uk to discuss their proposal before submitting an application. Enquiries should be made as early as possible and well before the application deadline.
Our next strategic grants awards will be announced in March 2027, and funding will be available from April 2027.
