Our Strategic Grants programme provides grants for one or more years, ranging from £5,000 to £50,000 for successful applications. Registered charities, community interest companies, voluntary organisations and community groups that meet the eligibility criteria can apply for funding.

We also invite proposals from organisations working together in partnership. Only one application per organisation or partnership will be considered per year. We particularly welcome applications from emerging groups and organisations seeking to develop new activities in response to clearly identified local needs with project proposals and plans.

Applications for the latest round of grants are open until 19 December 2025 (23:59). 

Local Charity and Not-for-Profit organisations interested in applying to this funding programme should first contact us at community.grants@crawley.gov.uk to discuss your proposal, at least seven days before the closing date.

Our next Strategic Grants awards will be announced in March 2026. Funding will be available from April 2026.
