The Courage Dyer Recreational Trust, a charity administered by Crawley Borough Council, assists in funding projects which will create and encourage recreation and leisure opportunities for the residents of Crawley and Rusper. Who can apply

Only registered charities or community interest companies can apply. However, recreational groups that are setting up can apply too.

Funding exclusions

We are unable to:

  • give grants to profit-making organisations or schools
  • approve grants for any one organisation more frequently than once in three years in nearly all circumstances

Eligibility requirements and funding conditions

To be considered for funding, groups and organisations must pass due diligence checks, as well as providing supporting evidence. Full details can be found in the guidance below.

Organisations awarded funding will be required to accept the information provided to them during the application process and as stated in the Courage Dyer Recreational Trust guidance.

Any special conditions or requirements will be notified with any formal offer.
