Crawley’s Community Covenant was signed at the Armed Forces Day celebration on 29 June 2013 by members of the Armed Forces and Crawley Borough Council.

We achieved the silver award in the Employer Recognition Scheme by carrying out the aims of the Community Covenant.

We host Armed Forces Day celebrations annually to raise public awareness of the contribution made to our country by those who serve and have served in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces.

It also gives us an opportunity to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community, from currently serving troops to service families and from veterans to cadets.
