A Business Improvement District (BID) is a defined area in which a levy is charged on all Business Rate payers in addition to the Business Rates bill. 

The money generated is spent on projects which benefit businesses in the local area.

When making a payment, quote your BID invoice number and not your Business Rates account number.

The Manor Royal BID covers the area around the Manor Royal industrial estate.

You will be liable to pay the BID levy if you are responsible for paying the Business Rates for a property in the BID area with a Rateable Value of £12,000 or more.

The Town Centre BID covers the area around Crawley Town Centre.

You will be liable to pay the BID levy if you are responsible for paying the Business Rates for a property in the BID area with a Rateable Value of £10,000 or more.
