Our Statement of Community Involvement (SCI), adopted in June 2020, explains how the planning system works. It sets out the different ways in which we will engage with people to enable their involvement in the planning process.

The document also provides guidance for neighbourhood forums who may have an interest in finding out about the opportunity to produce a neighbourhood plan. The updated SCI takes into account factual changes and minor amendments. This document, produced in June 2020 replaces the November 2019 version.
