Description: We will meet at the Smith and Western at 12pm. The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers.
Then we'll set off for a 2-3 hour walk around the park identifying the different Spring shoots, plants, flowers and hopefully mushrooms that we find. There will be a break somewhere along the way for our lovely hogweed and wild garlic soup.
We will finish the day off with a light wild food lunch based on what we have found. This will include some tasty treats made from our recent finds, a wild salad that we will pick on the day and possibly even some wild garlic pesto that we'll make in front of you.
