Safe and Healthy Fryer Management Workshop Business Civic Hall Adult some charges 24/01/2018 24/01/2018 An afternoon Following three recent serious incidents involving deep fat fryers in commercial kitchens in Crawley resulting in major life changing injuries and prosecution of the businesses, we are promoting fryer safety combined with safe and healthy management of fryers to both EHO's and to business by way of this Workshop. This is a CIEH sponsored event with CIEH members attending for free and business/non-members charged a £10 fee per head to cover costs.

Coffee and registration will be at 1pm and the event commence at 1.30pm with an introduction outlining the three recent cases, then presentations are being given by both the Federation of Fish Fryers and Falcon Food Services on the following topics including oil filtration/changing:

? Choices of oils and fats
? Health & Safety Management towards Fats and Oils
? How to manage oils and fats
? Identifying breakdown of oils and fats
? Tips for frying a healthier product
? Food Safety Policies
