As part of the Facilities Mobile Team you will be working face to face with customers across a variety of facilities including Community Centres, Sports Pavilions, Civic Hall, Allotments, and the Town Hall. You will be ‘meeting and greeting’ customers and reacting to customers needs as they arise. In addition to providing support to customers you will be required to open and lock facilities and to carry out minor repairs.
Other duties include fire safety and other Health & Safety checks, monitoring the condition and appearance of the facilities and where required take action to rectify problems, either directly or by referring to the appropriate contractor.
You will possess excellent communication and customer care skills and be comfortable working in a busy environment where you need to adjust your work to react to a variety of demands. You will need to possess a full driving licence which will enable you to drive in the UK as well as a willingness to undertake First Aid training.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a rota which includes some evening and weekend working. A copy of the rota can be viewed on line along with a copy of the Job Description and Person Specification.
Please note a full valid manual UK driving license is a requirement of the post.
