We are looking for people with superb communication and relationship building skills to form effective alliances with clients seeking support from our exciting Employ Crawley programme.
The programme, which is based in Crawley Library with outreach opportunities, has transformed the way local people access employment support, advice and training by bringing together key partners from all sectors.
As the front-facing role of the service, the Customer Support Officer is vital to the programme’s success. Through building rapport and forming good relationships you will identify clients’ gaps and barriers in order to provide strategic careers advice, including up-to-date employment and training advice as well as signposting them to supporting businesses and services.
Working with other organisations is a key element of this role as it will be your job to refer individuals to appropriate programmes or initiatives along with matching people to businesses and potential job opportunities, literally opening doors and improving lives.

This role will be predominantly based between the Town Hall and Crawley Library, with a requirement to travel to other locations when needed. The role will also be exempt from the flexible working scheme, in line with service hours.
