Crawley Borough Council manages nearly 1,500 leasehold properties that were originally sold under the Right to Buy.
If you are entering into a lease with Crawley Borough Council, it is very important you read and understand exactly what is required of you as a leaseholder. If you have any questions regarding your lease you should seek legal advice.
We’ve updated the Leaseholders’ handbook which provides useful information about your lease and how your building is managed. It also answers many questions that leaseholders commonly ask.
When we send out your invoice for the Leasehold Management charges, we also need to send out, by law, a summary of your rights and obligations. Alongside this we also send out a standard covering letter.
As more and more leaseholders sign up for ebilling it makes sense to add these standard documents to the website. Not only does this make them available to all leaseholders, but saves space when emailing the bills and other information as a link to the website can be included instead of large attachments.
