Payments by debit card do not incur a charge.
You can pay for council services over the internet, using your credit or debit card. If you have a bill or invoice from Crawley Borough Council you can pay part or all of it on our secure, easy to use system. Click on the link below to make a payment online now.
Please note – parking charge notices can’t be paid online on the same day that they are issued.
To comply with bank card acceptance requirements all online payments require a 3 digit security code to be entered. You can find these three digits on the reverse of your credit or debit card at the end of the signature strip.
We now accept payments using Pingit. Visit our payments site on your mobile phone and select the Pingit option. You will need to install the Pingit app to complete your payment.
If you bank online you can use the internet to make payments to the Council. The details to use are:

You must also add your payment reference number which you can find on your bill.
Direct Debit gives you peace of mind. It's the easiest, most convenient way to pay and it's guaranteed.
If you set up a Direct Debit it will save you the time and trouble of writing out cheques and the cost of postage. It will also save you having to come to the Town Hall to pay.

For direct debit, choose a payment date of the 1st, 15th or 25th of the month (except for Business Rates).
You will always be in control and will know in advance how much will be debited from your account and when.
We have an automated telephone payments system that you can use to pay any of these council bills: Council Tax, Housing Rent, Garage Rent, Sales Invoices, Business Rates, Benefit over payments, Commercial Rents and Parking Fines. Call 01293 438312.
You can visit Cashiers at the Town Hall to make payments by cash, cheque, credit or debit card. Cashiers are open Monday – Friday from 9.30am to 15.30pm (excluding public holidays and Christmas Eve pm).
The Contact Centre takes credit or debit card payments, but not cash. The Contact Centre is open from Monday - Friday 08.30 - 17.00 (excluding public holidays and Christmas Eve pm).
There is a Self Pay Kiosk located on the ground floor. Using a Touch Screen, with voice assistance if required, you can pay your Rent, Council Tax and other bills by cash or debit and credit card, quickly and securely whenever the Town Hall is open. You will need to know your payment reference number or scan your invoice. Please note change is given in £1, 10p and 1p coins only.

If you pay by standing order you need to arrange payments with your bank or building society. Please ensure payments are credited on the dates due, quoting the following:

Please make sure that you write your reference number on the reverse of your cheque. If you include your payment card it will be receipted and returned to you.
Deposit cash, cheque or Postal order payments inside the Night Safe situated at the side of the Town Hall building. Please write on the front of the envelope the amount of cash enclosed along with your name, address, reference number, and enclose payment card. The Night Safe is emptied on a regular basis.
